Its school time once again and our alarm clocks are set early to wake us up in the morning to get ready. Allowances are given, home works are being done, lessons are taught, new friendships are made, a whole new chapter of adventure.
Junior year, yes, two years have passed. We faced different situations. Mountains of home works, projects, reports we have done. Plenty of people say that this year, our 3rd year in high school would be tough. Not only for me, for everyone. Chemistry, Physics, Analytic Geometry, Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus, Research. All the pressure we have, makes me anxious. Can I reach the expectations of my parents for me? Will I survive another year? who knows, maybe laziness wouldn't be coming in my way and I would pass.
As I was expecting, these two weeks of classes wouldn't be easy. It was hard to adjust to the new classroom, new set of teachers, new schedule, and new faces. The strategy of each third year teacher was very different to last year's. They give seat works with different applications, recitations in which we learn together as one. Some teachers wouldn't move to the next topic unless almost all of us understood the lesson. Grateful we are for all of our teachers wanted us to learn. They didn't like the idea of us just going to school without any knowledge. Yes, some shows their side of being strict just to tell us to be responsible. We must study. We must pass all of the requirements, we must do assigned home works, and participate in recitations. Stressful it is but all worth it. All of our hard work, will pay off good. Will lead to our better living and standard in life. We just need cooperation. Not only with our classmate, but especially to our teachers.
Being an high school student is fun, yet not that simple. Too much temptations are around. Laziness, irresponsibility, carelessness, and our mind being out of focus. We're teenagers. We do what we like, what we do things what we think is fun, what we think is easier. It will take a lot of courage to fight them. A lot of faith to achieve what we want, and a lot of confidence we must have to be what we want.
