Informal Theme #4: National Career Assessment Examination 2012

The NCAE was developed to improve the quality of secondary education graduates entering college.  It aims to maintain the highest quality of education in the Philippines by leading the flow of students to courses in post-secondary institutions of learning matching their aptitude to promote national development.

As a third year student, having the National Career Assessment Examination is a big help. It minimizes the possibility of a college student switching or changing his/her course. NCAE helps us settle our minds on what we want, and what we are fitted for. Since we're still teenagers, we haven't made up our minds yet, at first we may like the course that we will take up, but as time goes, we'll find out more of those courses that will fit our personalities and capabilities. NCAE will also help us from being out of school youth. We can focus more on the course that we're taking up, since it is our interest already. NCAE also guides students and their parents in determining the career track they should take. The test results will validate the previously thought career choice by showing the student’s strengths and weaknesses in the aforementioned domains.

Taking the test was nothing to be anxious about, but we must take it seriously. The results will be a big help for us. It would be a part for choosing what we like on the next 50 years of our life.
