Informal Theme #7: My Teacher, My Hero
Teachers. What is a teacher? A teacher is a symbol of learning: a leader of learners and a miracle to education.A teacher is the captain of our educational journey; exact about everything.
A teacher has the courage enough to teach; and knows mostly all the answers. Teachers become our heroic inspiration. Teachers educate us with all of their knowledge. Smart and spirited, teachers can make our brains work like computers. Yet, our teachers can also hold our hands when we need it. Teachers reach to the sky to get what we need; and exit a subject just at the right time. A teacher possesses the academics and grace that we all love. Teachers care for us in every imaginable way.
Our teacher is the hero in our learning lives. Education is the key to success. That is what our teachers have taught us. Teachers are a class struggle in liberty: believing in kids; reaching out to kids; and instilling pride within all of us. Our education is important to our teachers. Therefore our teachers struggle hard to teach every student: checking exams after school; explaining things so they are easier; and reading to us or teaching us how to read. Each one of our praises we give. And for everything our teachers do, we will thank them today, tomorrow and always.
One of my most loved teachers is Ma'am Tenny del Rosario, my second year adviser and our English Teacher. Just like the routine of a teacher's life, she goes to school, teaches, and go home. Being one of her students, being late is her like 'mark', giving us chances to cram our projects and homeworks. Most of us love her because of that. And not just because of that. Ma'am Tenny was close to my classmates. Four of my classmates put their own pictures on Ma'am Tenny's table and she liked it. Our room felt more like a family. We put out 1 by 1 pictures on her table, too. And she arranged it herself. She let us sleep on the floor during lunch time. My classmates once called her "Lola Ana" because in our section, there's this Montereal Family from a famous TV series. It was just fun having her company. We always have food trips where I'm always assigned to the rice.
Some students like teachers who give good grades. Some like those who are very much dedicated to their duty. And as for me, she's a teacher who simply touched my heart because she inspired us and never let us feel the difference of a teacher from a mother. Happy Teachers' Day to all!
